Terms of Use

This privately owned reference site is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

The service points readers to Whiteside County and Illinois jail, arrest, court, VINE, IDOC, and records-request resources, plus outside research tools. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, or file a document.

Acceptable Use

Use must be lawful. Users may not stalk, harass, threaten, seek unauthorized access, deploy bots or scrapers, disrupt service, or use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited decision.

No Consumer Reports

This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Information must not be used for employment, firing, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance premiums, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.

Outside Links

Links to government portals, sheriff and corrections pages, legal resources, and outside search providers are offered for convenience. A link is not an endorsement. The destination controls its content, privacy terms, and availability.

No Warranties

Everything is provided “as is,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, uninterrupted access, security, error-free code, or thorough partner results. Custody and public records change often, and nothing here is an official government statement.

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent Illinois law permits, the site is not liable for loss arising from access or use. Users agree to defend and hold the site harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees caused by their use or breach of these terms.

Ownership and Access

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Whiteside County Recent Arrests or its content partners and may not be copied, altered, or distributed without written permission. Access may be limited or ended at any time and without notice.

Changes and Illinois Law

Revised terms take effect when posted. Illinois law governs, and disputes must be filed in an Illinois court. If one term is invalid, it will be narrowed as needed while the remaining terms stay effective. Questions may be sent through Get in Touch.
